Performance

To ensure that she accomplished her performance mandate and to properly articulate her unique sound, Amanda Davids sought a particular type of musician to make up her team. Each had to be highly skilled on their instrument while also having the creativity to fuse their styles with hers. Since Amanda’s style merges Funk, Jazz, Classical, Hip hop and Soul each musician also had to be knowledgeable and fluid in a variety of genres. Finally Amanda Davids believes in maintaining the highest level of musicianship and integrity in all facets of her music and thus chose team members who share the same view.

Production

As the original composer and co-producer of all her material, Amanda Davids is very particular when it comes to crafting the sound of each of her songs. With her unique ability to combine the subtle nuances of several genres; jazz, classical, funk, hip hop and soul, it was imperative that she find a production team consisting of members who could understand and maintain the proper balance between each style.
